Immingham Grain Store

The Immingham grain store is a 3.26 million pound investment in Lincolnshire farming

ImminghamBuilt in 2007 this 3500 square metre purpose built drying and storage facility offers port side storage at the point of end use for the farmer.

The storage solution offered by Immingham is a much more cost effective storage solution than central storage.

There is no capital expenditure required by the grower. The grower only has to commit one harvest year at a time.

The grower saves on haulage as he is delivering to the point of end use.

Drying is charged at a competitive rate.

Gleadell have dried up to 120,000 tonnes in a season and since the store was built over 500,000 tonnes of cereal and oilseeds have passed through it.

The store can hold up to 25,000 tonnes of wheat at any one time drying in 5000 tonne lots from 20% moisture content down to 15% moisture in 2 days.

The facility can be used for imported grain with organic grain regularly coming into the state of the art facility, before being distributed nationally.
