YARA has its energies focused on distributing knowledge
on the correct use of both fertilisers and industrial products to
ensure maximum benefit to its customers.
Yara produce a comprehensive range of predominantly
granulated fertilisers, with most PK or NPK products produced as
complex compounds.
The Yara range includes:
Extran [33.5% N]: Granular ammonium
nitrate. Quality controlled product that is ideal for precision
spreading to 24m plus. Suitable for all nitrogen applications and
crops.
Prilled N [34.5% N]: Prilled ammonium
nitrate. Tailor made for the grower who prefers prills to granules;
retaining all the quality and precision parameters.
Sulphan [30% N: 19% SO3]: Uniform
product ideal for use on all crops where higher applications of
sulphur are required; particularly oilseed rape and milling wheat.
Axan [27% N: 9% SO3]: Granular
product with an analysis that is aimed at applying “little
and often” throughout the growing season. Work carried out
at Rothamsted has demonstrated that yield increases of 2.9% have
been achieved over and above an equivalent single dose of sulphur,
as sulphate ions are realy mobile and can readily leach from the
soil.
Universal 16 [16% N: 16% P: 16% K]:
Prilled complex compound suitable for most crops where a balanced
NPK application is required, such as all cereals and oilseed rape.
New 52 [21N: 8% P: 11% K]: Uniform
product, aimed at all spring cereals where a rapid and even establishment
is facilitated by the relatively high NPK analysis
All Yara products come packed to 600kg gross weight
bags.
