35% Winter Triticale
10% PROTEOR, Kale
20% Quinoa Blend (including CARMEN)

This mixture will provide a selection of seeds during the winter for small birds & mammals. The inclusion of both winter & spring varieties give 2 flowering periods for the Triticale. It is a biennial mixture therefore, it should be resown every 2 years. This mixture should be sown in strips, at least 6 metres wide at the edge of fields and/or in blocks. Blocks or strips must not be larger than 0.5 ha and there must be no more than 1 strip/block per 20 ha. They should be well distributed across the land.

26% Quinoa Blend (including CARMEN)
8% Fodder Rape
10% Linseed
10% Kale
5% Late Flowering Fodder Radish
3% PULSAR, Rape/Kale cross

This mixture contains a diverse range of seed bearing plants. The inclusion of Kale, Fodder Rape & PULSAR should ensure a proliferation of seeds in the second year. This mixture can be sown either on it’s own or with cereal seed such as Triticale.
This mixture should also be sown in strips, at least 6 metres wide at the edge of fields and/or in blocks. Blocks or strips must not be larger than 0.5 ha and there must be no more than 1 strip/block per 20 ha. They should be well distributed across the land.
