This mixture is chiefly aimed at two species Tree Sparrow and Corn Bunting but with added benefits to other important farmland bird species:

Triticale: Large seed which Corn Bunting and Tree Sparrow prefer, less handling time and big on calorific value.

Linseed: The high oil content can actually aid the molt process in many birds! Linseed is good for Linnets as well as an additional pollen source for insects.

Peredovic Sunflower: intermediate is less likely to collapse and will benefit a range of farmland birds roughly standing the same height as the triticale crop.

Phacelia: A fast growing pollen crop that will benefit many insects and as a result benefit granivorous birds during their insectivorous stages such as Corn Bunting and Tree Sparrow.

"This mixture provides 2 seed sources and 2 pollen sources, highly effective and reliable.

The Linseed adds energy for the wild birds in the oils and fats contained within the seed. The sunflower is intermediate and flower at mid height to compete with other ingredients effectively. The Phacelia is a reliable grower adding a pollen source and is highly attractive to insects. When tested by us, the sound of Bees and other insects is quite a sight and sound! Phacelia also has an added benefit by lifting nitrogen and assisting in soil structure with its deep penetrating tap root"
