• Flash is a restored hybrid added to the 2008 HGCA Recommended List for its very high treated gross output.

• Flash is HGCA recommended for all regions – the only new variety to achieve this for 2008

• Limited data suggests very high treated gross output in the North region.

Flash has good overall disease resistance.

Flash possesses good straw characteristics – lodging resistance and stem stiffness scores are among the best available.

Flash is similar in view of maturity to Lioness and Expert, varieties which are both widely grown and successful.
