UK rapeseed production is now regularly reaching approximately 2 million mt per annum and forms the main cereal break crop for the UK farmer.

The market in the UK is dominated by two main processors through three crushing plants and Gleadell have close working relationships with both. Through our shareholders we have direct links into one of the world’s biggest rapeseed traders. With Global operations they are able to see first hand how crops are developing and this speed of reporting and analysis enables us and our farmer customers to react quickly and position ourselves to take advantage of market opportunities.

Customer focus remains key to our business and also for our farmer customers that require harvest movement we have a network of stores throughout our trading areas that allow us to facilitate “on demand” prompt movement from the farm.
