NITOUCHE is a very popular large blue pea variety. The combination of consistent performance, good agronomic characters and suitability for premium markets all contributing to its success. Nitouche produces a large, smooth, round pea which is suitable for the human consumption market both in the UK and for export. In addition it retains its colour well, making it popular for micronising. Nitouche has long straw with good standing ability making it easy to harvest, whilst its high level of resistance to downy mildew helps to reduce input costs.
