YIELD
After an exceptional year in 2003 NIAB/PGRO Recommended Trials, Nile now yields at 101% of
controls (Victor, Quattro, Meli & Compass), compared to Compass at 99% and Victor at 95%.

THE MARKET
A large seeded, pale skinned variety that is suitable for the premium export market. For the past
three years, Nile has been a finalist in the Maviga Cup (BEPA Human Consumption Bean
Competition), and has been runner-up to Victor. Human consumption buyers confirm Nile’s
quality for export, and say its taste is better than Victor.
