NEW FERTILISER PLANT IS GOOD NEWS FOR GROWERS
Pictured outside the newly opened IAWS fertiliser
blending plant at Immingham docks, Lincolnshire are Richard Clark,

of Gleadell Agriculture in the centre.

Calum Findlay, Gleadell fertiliser manager, welcomes the new plant
at Immingham and IAWS’ long-term commitment to both Gleadell
and the UK agricultural industry.
He believes the company produces one of the best products in the
market place. “Our sales of PK and NPK are growing year on
year against the market trend,” he says. “I put this
down to our ability to source good product and supplies through
a close working relationship with IAWS, combined with the growth
of Gleadell. These two factors allow fertiliser produced by IAWS
to have an excellent route through to the market via our network
- which can only be good news for our farmer customers.”
The state-of-the-art operation opened three weeks ago, consisting
of an 80,000 square foot purpose-built warehouse equipped with the
UK’s most modern computer controlled plant for both bulk and
bagged fertiliser products.
And says Richard Clark, fertiliser sales manager with IAWS, it also
has the added advantage of a deep water port which will enable the
facility to reduce vessel costs and take in a wider range of top
quality raw materials.
