Kabuki has very similar agronomic characteristics to the
other marrowfat type varieties with similar ratings for
maturity, straw characters and disease resistance to Samson
and Kahuna.
GRAIN QUALITY
In trials, Kabuki has given a thousand seed weight of
410 - 450 gms placing it at the higher end of the marrowfat
group for this character.
Kabuki is accepted in the human consumption markets for
canning and packet sales with a reputation for good grain
colour retention.
