This mixture is contains a selection of non invasive, low maintenance grass species that are indigenous to the United Kingdom. These grasses should establish well with no fertiliser and are highly suited to creating margins and buffer strips around fields. If used for 2 or 4 metre strips, this mixture, after the first 12 months, should be cut no more than 1 year in 5 and only to control woody growth.

This mixture contains fine leaved grasses that are highly suited to arable field margins and, being non invasive are good companion grasses for the wild flower species suggested by DEFRA. This mixture should be cut at least once per year and the clippings should be removed to enable the wild flowers to thrive.
