FIAS ( Fertiliser Industry Assurance Scheme) is still voluntary for the industry, but Gleadell were the first main Agricultural Merchanting business in the UK to gain full accreditation. Already a question has started to appear on farm inspection questionnaires asking " did you buy your fertiliser from a FIAS certified supplier "?
